Vocal Sounds was founded on 25th January 2025 by a group of friends who simply loved singing together.
Our aim was simple: to create a choir where every voice is valued and every singer feels proud of the music they make.
Based in Monton, Vocal Sounds offers a fresh, creative option for adults looking to join a choir that’s committed to musical quality—while staying grounded in warmth, fun, and community spirit.
We rehearse weekly with a live pianist and sing from sheet music—but don’t worry if you can’t read music. With lyric sheets, easy-to-follow practice tracks, and friendly, supportive rehearsals, we’ve got all the tools you need to get started and feel confident.
Under the expert direction of award-winning mezzo-soprano Siân Davies, we build confidence, blend harmonies, and bring everything from choral classics to contemporary gems to life.
